Your Writer: Jon Kilgannon Well, the Space Shuttle is up and orbiting, which is one hurdle passed. There wasn't much foam falling off the big disposable fuel tank, which had been the problem in the last couple of flights. We'll have to see how the landing goes.

I got to see Mark over the Independence Day holiday, and we discussed The Webcomic Which Shall Follow MoS. The discussion included a mention of the Younger Dryas as part of a comment involving the retreat of seawater from cave complexes around the Caribbean during ice ages. I suspect this is, in fact, the only mention of the Younger Dryas ever made in the context of a webcomic.

Your Artist: Mark Sachs I bet you thought there was not going to be a comic today. You are wrong, update-breath! I'm just staying up irresponsibly late since I don't have to work tomorrow.

That aside, let me just borrow this space long enough to wish a happy 230th birthday to my favoritest country in the whole entire Earth, the United States of America! And may I say, you don't look a day over 95.
