Pennywise
Being the traditional anime story of Gibson, your average guy, who through no fault of his own ends up stranded on a planet populated exclusively by beautiful, crazy women. This one came out rather nice pacing-wise, being very plot-heavy (as my stuff usually tends to be) but still a svelte four pages. "Heretical Repose" is a vague riff on the goth punk band Sisters of Mercy and their label, Merciful Repose. For the big in-joke, check page 69: the three "unscrupulous adventurers" are Cheetah, Geena, and Penny from Gold Digger. Also, Charlotte's full name as revealed on page 70 is a very obvious pun.
